Professor Samuel Aryee – Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management

Samuel Aryee obtained his postgraduate qualifications from McMaster University and held roles at the National University of Singapore and Hong Kong Baptist University before coming to Aston University. Sam serves of the editorial boards of numerous journals.

Professor Pawan Budhwar – Professor of International HRM

Pawan holds a PHD from Manchester Business School and is Associate Dean Research at Aston Business School, Director of the Aston India Foundation and President of the Indian Academy of Management.

Dr Stephanie Decker – Senior Lecturer in International Business

Stephanie completed a PhD in history at the University of Liverpool and held post-doctoral roles at LSE and Harvard Business School before coming to Aston Business School in 2010. She specialises in qualitative approaches to international business and strategy and has presented her work at many prestigious events throughout the world.

Dr Michael Smets – Lecturer in Management and Organisation Studies

Michael is a research fellow at Green Templeton College and a member of the Novak Druce Centre for Professional Service Firms. His research focuses on the internationalisation, innovation and regulation of PSFs – an important area, as these service providers are often the intermediaries for business and organisational transactions.

Dr Andrew Bass

The founder of BassClusker Consulting is renowned for his work for a diverse range of industries, including some well-known household names, such as KPMG and L'Oreal. Andrew has worked in many different international markets and is an active member of the Birmingham business community, so can offer a global perspective along with local expertise.
